What you get with SaaS search for WooCommerce.
-
WordPress plugin + search hook
Installs as a standard plugin from the ZIP. The `posts_search` and `pre_get_posts` hooks redirect the search to Findalo. Compatible with every WC theme (Storefront, Hello Elementor, Astra, Blocksy).
-
Indexes products + variants
WooCommerce handles variable products with many attributes. Findalo indexes every relevant combination and lets shoppers filter by size, color, brand, custom attributes — without you configuring the facets.
-
Compatible with WPML and Polylang
If your store is multi-language with WPML or Polylang, each language is indexed separately and returns results in the visitor's locale.
-
Compatible with WP caches
WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Super Cache — all of them. The widget loader cache-busts client-side, so an HTML page cached for hours still loads the right bundle.
-
No load on your MySQL
WooCommerce's native search puts serious load on MySQL during peak hours. Findalo moves that to external edge infrastructure — your server only serves HTML and images, no search queries.
-
Works alongside existing search plugins
If you already have a WordPress internal search plugin, there's no conflict. Findalo operates at the UI level (full-screen modal), not at the WP_Query hook level. You can keep the other one as a fallback for internal content search.
Live demo, nothing to install.
This is a real WooCommerce install with Findalo enabled. Click the theme's search icon and try it out.
woocommerce.findalo.io WooCommerce dev store with findalo installed
Click the search icon in the header, search for «snowboard», «ski» or «wax» and you'll see the findalo widget in action with real catalog products.
Opens in a new tab — WooCommerce blocks external iframes for security.
Frequently asked questions about Findalo on WooCommerce.
How do I install it on my WooCommerce?
Standard WordPress plugin. Sign up at findalo.io, download the ZIP from the panel (Integration → WooCommerce tab → Download ZIP), upload it in wp-admin → Plugins → Add new → Upload plugin, activate, and paste the slug + token from the Findalo panel. 5-10 minutes in total. Step-by-step details at /docs.
Better than a WordPress internal search plugin?
For SMBs with typical WP caches, yes — Findalo is SaaS (no load on your server) and ships automatic filters with no custom field setup. For stores with very specific editorial content search (not just products), an internal plugin is still a good complement for general site search.
Does it support variable products and custom attributes?
Yes — every variant with its SKU and attributes is indexed. Visible attributes (size, color, etc.) turn into filters automatically. You can exclude private attributes from the panel.
Do I have to change my product URLs?
No. Findalo links to the canonical URLs WooCommerce already has. Only the search experience changes (modal instead of /?s= page).
Does it work with WooCommerce Subscriptions, Bookings, Memberships?
The full catalog of physical and digital products is indexed. For custom types (subscriptions, bookings, memberships), they're mapped as normal products with their recurring or access price. Tell us your use case.
