Shopping Assistant
The shop assistant who knows your whole catalog and makes nothing up.
A chat inside your store that asks what it needs to know, takes the shopper to the right product and answers shipping or returns questions with your own terms. When it doesn't know something, it says so.
Included in Business · €49/month extra on Starter and Pro
What it does in your store
- Takes them to the product
The shopper describes what they want in their own words ("a gift for very dry skin, no perfume"). The assistant asks for what's missing and suggests specific products from your catalog, with their price.
- Answers questions on the product page
A "Need help?" block with suggested questions appears on the product page. Customers clear up their doubt about that product without leaving the page.
- Knows your terms
It reads the pages of your store that cover shipping, delivery times, returns and warranty, and answers with that information, not with generic answers.
- Speaks your customer's language
It answers in the language it's written to, with nothing to configure per language.
Built not to make things up
The first question about any AI assistant is "what if it makes something up?". That's why ours works like this:
- It uses the same index as your search engine: the same products, prices and stock, kept up to date by the same sync. There's no second catalog to maintain.
- It only recommends what you sell, because it has nothing else in front of it.
- If the answer isn't in your catalog or your pages, it says "I don't know" instead of inventing one.
- It doesn't pretend to act: it never says it added something to the cart or applied a coupon. It explains how to do it in your store.
What it can't answer lands in your panel
Every unanswered question is logged and ranked by how often it was asked. It's the list of what your store is missing, written by your customers. You answer it from the same panel, and that answer becomes part of what the assistant knows.
The panel also shows the full conversations, the most frequent questions and how many were answered.
Where it shows up
A floating button across the store
Opens the chat from any page. On a product page it starts by talking about that product; on the home page or a category it opens wide, next to the products it recommends.
A block on the product page
A "Need help?" block with the questions you choose, wherever you want it on the page.
In your brand's look
Colour, icon and copy of the button and the block, from the panel. It works in any store where Findalo search works.
Order status, on request
If we turn it on for your store, shoppers can ask about their order: they see it when logged in, or with a code sent to the email used for the purchase.
What it costs
It comes included in the Business plan (€149/month) and in the custom plan.
On Starter and Pro you add it as an extra for €49/month, without changing plans: you turn it on from your panel and remove it just as easily.
One subscription and one catalog: no need to buy a separate chat and keep your prices in two places.
When we don't recommend it
We say it before charging you:
- If your product pages are very thin
With a name and two lines there's nothing to answer "is this OK for sensitive skin?" with. You'll see it right away in the list of unanswered questions.
- If your catalog is very small
With a couple of hundred products, good navigation and the search engine cover the same ground.
- If what you need is customer service
Incidents or returns already in progress need a person. This is a shopping assistant: it helps people choose.
Frequently asked questions
Can it recommend products I don't have?
No. It searches the same index as your search engine, so it only suggests products from your catalog, with the price and stock they have at that moment.
What happens if it's asked something it doesn't know?
It says it doesn't know instead of inventing an answer, and the question stays in your panel so you can answer it. From then on, the assistant knows it.
Which plans include it?
It comes included in Business and in the custom plan. On Starter and Pro you add it as an extra for €49/month from the panel, without changing plans.
Which languages does it answer in?
In whatever language the customer writes in.
Is there much to set up?
No. You turn it on in the "Shopping Assistant" tab of the panel, and it uses the catalog and store pages Findalo already has in sync. From there you choose where it appears, which questions it suggests and how it looks.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You can try it for free from the panel before you subscribe.
